Throttle Body spacers

To the people that have them. Do they actually increase power in our Cl's? 3.0 to be exact.

It really doesn't do much of anything HP-wise, but may help fuel efficiency

You can also search for more info, they've been disussed on here many times

Definitely get a transmission cooler.
This was probably years ago, but I thought it was decided that the TB spacers actually have negative effects on our cars. Either way, I would search the forums before you buy one (whoever may be reading this).

Actually, the stock airbox gives the air that "swirl" (remeber that piece of sheet shit metal on ebay, that cyclones the air?). Well, in a stock airbox, u dont need anything to make the air swirl, cause its design to swirl to begin with (all those ribbings on the rubber tube). When you install a cold air intake, or a short ram, that swirl is eliminated... so u loose a bit of power BUT u gain the same, if not more because there is more airflow and the air is colder( in a properly installed CAI). The throttle body may help in that situation, because it has a swirl pattern on the inside and it may give a bit of it back. But, i have one (got it as a gift. so i wont complain) and it doesn't do any difference, or at least, i dont feel it. It does make a nice "turbo like" whistle when your half way on the throttle though, pretty cool :P
