For those who want to feel VTEC

I remember seeing a thread that was about the fact that some of you can not feel the VTEC crossover in your cars. Well I was thinking, if you really want to feel it, can't you just get an Apexi V-AFC and raise the point at which the crossover occurs alittle bit. You might lose alittle midrange power but you'll definatly feel it because the difference in power will be greater when you switch over.

I did it by accident with my vafc, It was the equivalent to the feeling when I hit my N2O. It just didnt feel right so I put it back to normal. The car accelerated extremely slow and then flew it was a strange feeling.

FYI...if it is "kicking" in your losing power just before the "kick"

The most power is yeilded from lower the engagement as low as possible and tuning the fuel to match it.

There is no kick whatsoever when you do this.

On the dyno it showed a huge drop in power right before it kicked in. So large that it was impossible to correct with the VAFC, To achieve a smooth transition.

alright, if anyone is close to me, CiLvr2.3 rode in my car and it kicks in, thats how i explain it and i dont feel a loss of power what so ever. i believe in the power of the vafc, i think it does respond well but you need to set it right but it did kick in, i can feel the power in the 3.0 maybe the 2.3/2.2 and 3.0 are different on the response from the vafc
