For those with Pro Kits?
Just curious:
Which way did you install your rear springs? There is one side more compressed than the other. Did you put the compressed side up or down on your car? I have seen in several pics that some are installed differently than each other.
Would this affect whether your car "appears" to ride lower in the rear than in the front?
Many Pro Kit owners complain of this phenomenon...
Thanks.

Mine were installed by a shop...but doesn't the writing "Eibach" on the spring supposed to be right side up and that's how you tell they aren't upside down?

I thought that too, I will check again....mine are with compressed side down.
I ask this question cuz I noticed joeshmoe's rears appeared to be compressed side up. My drop looks lower than his in the rear, however, I bought mine 6 mos used from another forum member. Mine have probably settled...I guess.
Thats what got me thinking about my ride height in the rear.
I hope this doesnt have adverse effects to my ride. I really dont want to take it all aprt if I dont have to

they will only fit on the perch one way and the writing is upside down for the rears. the top of the spring is larger than the bottom. this is very noticable if you are using af shocks.

NICE!! Phew....sorry I panicked.....We just went through so much crap with the seized RR side, I forgot if we looked closely enough at that.

both my rears were seized, i had to cut them off with a cut off wheel, then torch the bushings out, and finally install new bushings which was the hardest part of all.

I was wondering that too since it would seem to make sense that the writing should be rightside up. Mine also haven't settle yet. Although that shouldn't lower it more than about .5" anyway.
Oh and FAWK the RR side of our cars!!!!!
