For Those With Nitrous . . .

I bought the Zex plugs to go with my nitrous kit (Zex), and had a thought/question.

I know that it's recommended to run with plugs that are 2 heat ranges colder than stock (makes sense to me), but how will these plugs affect my "everyday" performance (if at all)?

I imagine that I'll be running without nitrous 90-95% of my driving time, and wonder how these plugs will affect my performance.

It concerns me, that if there are any negative performance issues, why would I continue to use these plugs when they are only needed 5-10% of the time?

If there are no negative performance issues, then this concern is moot!

Any thoughts?

HEY I RUN THE ZEX PLUGS DAILY I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS. THEY PERFORM THE SAME AS THE BOSCH PLATINUM PLUS4 PLUGS I HAD I WANTED TO CRY WHEN I HAD TO TAKE THEM OUT THEY WERE IN NEW CONDITION AND I PAID LIKE $30 THEN I HAD TO REPLACE THEM WITH A $45 SET OF ZEX PLUGS BUT FROM WHAT ZEX TELLS ME YOU BETTER USE THEM THEY SAY A REGULAR PLUG CAN MELT OUT THE INSIDES OF IT INTO YOUR ENGINE BIG PROBLEM

Leave em in. You wont have any negatives. I run a one step colder plug all the time.

The only negative would be the daily degredation of the plugs over time. I.E. if you want to have a fresh set of ZEX plugs for the track, swap em w/ the old for daily driving.

Takes 20 minutes.

I put in the Zex plugs today, and drove back from PA (I live in MD). It was about a 120 mile trip. I noticed NO difference. Same gas mileage, no loss of power, blah, blah, blah.

My concerns seem moot!
