h2o....did u sand the emblems down and then paint it and how did u attach them back to the car. did u just scrape off all of the old adhesive off and put on new adhesive? what kind and color paint did u use? i've had this idea since i bought my car and now that someone has done it maybe can direct me i can maybe do it pretty soon. hopefully b4 college starts again.

i did the same thing "ghost emblems". I took off the emblem (using fishline) sanded the chrome off the emblem and painted it using touch up paint from acura/honda, so it's the perfect match. The touch up paint comes in like a nail polish type application works very well. to reapply the emblem i used double sided 3m tape. Before you reapply the emblem makes sure all of the extra residue left by the original emblem is off obviously. if you have issues taking the residue off, use goo gone.

or you can do like i did.... cut the stock badging apart and just have the stock acura badge and then have it just say CL... no liter notation with all the letters individual. I kinda think the ass end looks dumb naked but this way i have something trick and it looks like its factory. Like 3 people have ever noticed and were like wow that looks nice.
