is there a difference between...

are there any differences between 2.3 speedometer and 3.0 speedometer???

i just bid on it.. and i just noticed that it's for 3.0..

so.. if there're differences, i'm gonna cancel it..

I thought that the 2.x speedo only went up to 120, but that might be only the older 2.2. Thought someone mentioned that the other day, the 3.0 goes up to 140, but should still hook up the same way, so if it is different, you can pretend that you have a higher topspeed

Wasn't sure, I was going off of this statement from the "autoshift" thread. I didn't think there was a difference until I saw this post. Then I thought that the 2.2's only went to 120. Sorry shiney, don't get defensive.

doesn't go up more than 135.. i tried.. and it kept stopping near 135

i got a 3.0 and mine stops at 140 but one day i pushed it about 5 mph past it ( thats an estimated 5 there arnt really any bars past it so i just sort of guesd) and it felt like i could have kept going easy. then i got scared popped it in neutral and let it coast...then got goin again and doin about 110 when i saw some cherrys flickering in my direction : (

DOH! Did they tag you? I'd hate to know what that fine would be like, 110 mph, could cost you your license if they really clocked you at that. What part of STL you from, I was born right outside STL
