ive tried, with the clears you can not take them apart, they are super stuck together, maybe te stock ones but never tried the stock one, and then you can put on a clear plexi glass if you can get them apart but i was thikning of putting fogs from a Audi TT mini fogs in there and i could not get the damn thing apart, plus when you put them on the sheet the headlight housings have pegs to sit the bottom half of the light so that air passes through, when you put the turn signal in there, say bye bye, cause it will melt some

the clear corners are actually melted together....when they are made the two parts are put together then stamped with a very hot tool of the same shape to melt to edges together...seals em for good.....youre not gonna get them apart...... nice try tho!

i am gonna get a bunson burner and a long knife.

put the knife up to the burner, stab the clear corner edge.

put the knife up to the burner, stab the clear corner edge.

put the knife up to the burner, stab the clear corner edge.

do this shit , like as many times as it takes, then that shit'll come apart, then i'll super glue it back

and i'll use silicone on the edges. I could get this done, nothings impossible, i always thaught of

implanting fogs inside our clears, especially cuz one of mine is fogged up.

Dont give up on this one guys! anythings possible!

well.. i was thinkin.. wat color is the inside of our stock corners? i was thinkin if its the same as the aftermarkets.. we could dremel the clear lens of the aftermarket, then oven that stock.. so we put the clear lens w that stock housing.. and super glue that mofo..

does that make sense? but yea.. someone offer me a pennie for my thought

Just cut the aftermarkets in half on the gray plastic part and silicon/screw them back together. I was thinking of fitting a VW jetta hella projector foglamp along with a round turn signal all surrounded in stainless sheet metal, but i decided to just shave out the bumper lights all together

You can rip off the amber in each of the corners....i've read about it.

I have them sitting in my closet and I have no more CL, so I'll sell them cheap?

yo, that sounds like a good idea but you are gonna waste so much time re-heating that knife....

this trick has helped me so many times with plastic, boil a large kettle of water, you can even add salt, salt will raise the boilding point of the water, once its boiling toss your clear corner in the water for like 10 min at least, while its in the water try using a knife to break through the glue

you didn't even read the thread did you rmh? If you had yoiu would have seen that the clear corners are melted together, NOT glued.

HAHAFUNNY.. aite.. back to the clear... so DanMAN.. u were sayin that we could rip the amber right out?

let me get this straight... we oven that mofo, open it out and rip the amber part out and it'll be just like the aftermarket clear?
