Tail light question....

anybody knows if the red plastic cover on our tail lights are painted red or they are red plastic.

A shopping cart broke one of mine once and it def. looked like red plastic but i could be wrong

Yup they are plastic, so if your thinking of bleaching them clear it can't be done.
