Exclamation Tach Gauge Bubbling

I noticed that on my Tach, the area around the small screws in the center is starting to "bubble up".

What causes this? Can it be fixed?

I know that may sound like a weird description, i will try to post pics for people who dont understand when i get home from work this evening.

i know what you're talking about, its on the black part of the gauges right on the screw hole.
i don't think its fixable though. i think all clusters might actually have it.

I have it too. I'm not sure it's a defect, rather just the way it is?
Unless some people don't have it

I have it to.
You can see it around the screws on the tach. It's minor tho.

I'll take a better pic. Hold on.

I got used to it. At least it's not on the speedometer. I never look at the tach anyway.

Glad my gauges do not have STD's, that would piss me off. But yeah I do agree, just get new faces.

my assumption on what it is, is something that has to do with heat maybe? cause its weird for that to expand like that.

It may be from the screws getting overheated somehow. Thats just a guess

The strange thing is that all the members that I have seen with this problem, it is always on the tach side. Some worse than others. I just never wanted to point it out cuz mine are the same.

Wow, mine is not that bad. But thats exactly what im talking about.

It may have something to do with the heat. I live in Charlotte, NC and we have been battling 100 degree heat in the past month. I noticed this about a week ago.

It's something on the faces. Kinda like when a sticker bubbles up from heat.

I'm supprised the rest of the interior isn't bad besides the seats.
Texas heat + original owner leaving the car outside for 10 years with no tint =

When you look at the gage as a whole, it's doesn't look that bad..

^^^ Your breaking my balls with the herpes jokes bro!

Reminds me of something from TWO and a half MEN. Something about a goat..
