I have a 3000w D-Class amp running to my battery and also some neons on the inside, and underbody's (ricer.. yes i know =p).

But i'm still using the stock battery and today it just completelly drained on me..

I'm figuring to get a Optima Yellowtop battery for the car, but also I was thinking about taking out that battery and charging it, but also keeping it and mounting all my lights to it and just running my system off my car battery and my car of course..

But I'm not too sure of how to run a 2nd battery from lets say the trunk or so.. anyone ever done it before, or know where I could find out how to?


Or any other opinions?

 

just get the optima red top, you replace that under the hood. It is deffinitely a alternator problem, we all have had it. get a bigger alternator ( a lot of places just blk up your stock one), the red top, and a capacitor, just make sure the cap is fully charged before you put it in!
