Hey y'all!

First post in a loooooooooooong time, got a question.

I'm lookin to upgrade the shocks/struts/springs in my 1998 2.3CL and I'm wondering what you guys think would be good. I'd like some lowering because I do plan to put 17's on, but retaining comfort is important. I live in New England which is freakin Pot Hole capital of the world.

Suggestions?

 

How low do you want to go? I suggest the eibach prokit. or if you want to go all out do the tein coilovers (cost is about 850$). Which is a good deal when you consider the price of shocks and springs can run about 700$. The Teins are awesome.

 

Please do a search. We've covered this a million times. Don't mean to act like a dick but I'm too lazy to go over this again. If you can't find it post back and I'll type down what I know.

 

What's going on man? Hey, I live in RI as well, its good to see someone nearby. Anyway, i have the prokit on my CL with KYB AGX's and its a great/adjustable ride. I suggest it, looks clean, but not enough to really notice the drop. You have prob seen my CL around somewhere, seeing as the state is so small. Look at all the shit in my sig to confirm. BTW, i have the only decent CL in the state, except for some kid in the prov area, and one in warwick, both black. Let me know if you want to check out the drop or anything. I'm in North Prov. I haven't done much of anything at all to the car. I'd like to though, I figure I'd start with the suspension, wheels and tint before anything. I'm 22. U at URI?

 

Word, what got rice is saying is 100% correct if you got the cash to drop for tiens, but i don't, so i stick with the prokit. Yeah i live in Scituate, but i am moving down to Eastward look come September. Yeah i go to URI, i am gonna be a Junior. I have the prokit and KYB's, ADR 18's and llmar tint from Sunset Tint, i am sure you know that they are the best in the state. Where in NP are you from, i have friends from around thr RIC kinda area. If your 22, do you know Steve DeLorenzo? I went to LaSalle, and was good friends with his bro.

 

What do ya think about the Neuspeed Sport springs?

 

anyone know of any cambers and sway bars for a 2.3
