Suspension Question

Hi Guys,

At what milage/years should one change the suspension's, mine is 98 2.3cl with close to 200kmiles on it, I just can't figure out if mine are busted or not as I have gotten used to the way my car rides...but I sure feel that the car is taking in each and every bump...is there any other dignosis besides the ride feel???

Also any preferences between the Monroe Sensa trac V/S KYB GR2.... I am not looking for any thing great just a little better performance than the stock, also don't want to sacrifice the ride height.

Is there is place where I can buy the complete bushing set the polyurethane ones fopr my year model car...as I plan to change them as well. Any links would help.

Please help me out.

Thankx
JFK

energy suspension > *, seriously. if you want to do one thing to a 10+ year old car to make it handle infinitely better, urethane bushings are where it's at.

I'm the first CL'er to do this to their car, and I have to say it was the best rejuvenation mod that I did to her. Made my suspension brand new again, I did this after shelling out $500 to replace 2 rubber bushings that disintegrated and crumbled apart causing my front passenger side suspension to collapse

yeah, factory bushings are a ripoff. i bought some nismo TC bushings for my 240 back before i replaced everything, it was like 80 just for the two... replaced them maybe a year and a half later with the ones that came in the Hyperflex kit.

thank you 97BlackAckCL, but I guess the 98cl's are diferent. I checked around and these energy suspension kits woun't work as most of the bushings come with the assembly, specially the lower and upper arm. Even on the energysuspensionparts.com web site this kit does not list for my car.

I really appreciate your help though.

thankx

Are you sure that the bushing that you have r for a 98cl, cuase I am sure that the control arm for a 98cl comes with the bushing pre assembled...i might be wrong....if they will fit my car then I will take it off of your hands.....just let me know how much shipped to NJ 08852. If you are in central NJ area then I can come pick it up as well. PM me as I tried to PM you but your inbox is full.
