Sun Spots

My glass, especially my windshield, has what seems to be sun stains, can i get ride of this or what should i do?

sunstains as in it looks greenish purplish in the sunlight? I don' tthink anything can be done about that... but dunno squeegie it and then use one of those leather cloth thingies to dry the rest?

ya i am tyring alot of things and ya they look sort of rainbow-ish clors from certain angles

SOund like you have some kind of residue like an oil film or something on your windshield. May not even be sunspots. I got that shit on mine after UI had some rainex on it for a while. GEt some good commercial glass cleaner.

yeah... especially on my rear window I think it has something to do with the tint... on the rear it is a pattern on the whole glass... kinda checkered.

The spots are in the glass itself. Not on the surface. My back quarter panel windows have them.

ya i guess being in the sun thoruhgout the day, car parked at school, my tints havent lasted me to long, they are being constantly abused by the wonderful south florida sun

Go to Autozone and look for like paint stripper and things like that on that isle there should be something for windshields and windows

yeah I got pine tar on my windshield form a pine tree (suck living in the country) and it came right off the glass was spotless I also use it before I got to a car show on my tinted windows and it makes the spots go away

well yeah it is but you can't leave it on and make sure you put it on a rag and wipe it. You may want to follow behind with some Eagle One window cleaner, make sure its th 20/20 cause it has no amonia

Yeah it turns it from black to blue or purple and it can make it peel eventually
