Subbage
Subbage
I haven't posted her in a long time. I had a 3.0, but the tranny started to take a dump, so I bailed. Plus I want stick, and I was only gettin 17 miles to the gallon. So here I am today with a manual '98 EJ8 Civic EX Coupe. I am very happy. But...I have some questions about subwoofers, and I like you guys alot more than the people on civic forums. Im still on here, and you guys are a lot more consistent, and personal than any other forum.
So, the questions. My friend is trying to sell a subwoofer setup.
2 Alpine Type E's (4 yr warranty)

1 alpine amp
http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...model=MRP-M450
also a box, and all the wiring. Now these subs and amp have a lot lower power than some of the people I know who got da bump. But I would be getting all this stuff for 300 bucks, with the warranty on the subs. It is all in great condition. I could always save up though.
I am not looking to spend big money, just looking for a beginner setup that doesnt suck. The power may be a little low, but will it be enough to keep me happy. Im not looking to king kong, you dont have to hear me coming down your street, but enough where i could feel the seats shake a little bit, and have a nice amount of bass? I know nothing of subs or how much this power would sound like. And cannot hear the stuff because it isnt hooked up. He says he will give me a full refund if I dont like it. But will this be enough power to keep me happy? Or will I be dissapointed because I barely hear it?
Thanks for anyone who read, and anyone who posts.
