pwrdbyacura don't you think it would be a good idea to know what a strut bar is before you say you want to buy it?
Anyways a strut bars are made for the front, rear upper and lower. Do you want to get a rear upper or lower?
When your car turns your cars chasis flex or compresses towards itself. By having strut bars the reinforce your chasis and prevent flexing. You will have better handling car with strut bars.
Strut bars having nothing at all to do with wheel gap and will do nothing to it at all. The front strut bar connects to the top of your shocks using the 3 bolts that are allready holding your shocks up. The rear upper conncets to the rear shocks in much the same way as the front and will be in your trunk. The rear lower tie connects underneath your car to your chasis. Hope this sheds some light on the issue.

I forgot to mention that I know for sure that the 94-97 fit the 4 cylinder CLs. I not 100% sure on the 3.0 but my guess is that its the same. The one that procarparts.com sells is ok and you wont find any cheaper than that. One dc sport strut bar cost around $100.00. If you check the procarparts.com web site under 94-97 accord the have a package that sell the front and rear upper bar toghter for like $40.00. They also have the rear lower for around $30. You can get alll 3 bars for $70.00 at their site not including shipping. Your basically getting all 3 bars for the price of one name brand bar.

The one on the link is a rear upper. That would be the best one to get first considering our cars have sort of one in the front allready. Its in easy install you can do yourself in less than 30 minutes. By the way if you have a box with subs in the trunk your going to have to move it foward to make room for the bar. Also any amps mounted on the back seat depending on how low they are mounted might get in the way aswell.

thank you for the help
are there anyother ways to make my cl faster besides headers (1200 + intallation) and a venom 400 or Apexi performance module. I was thinking about something like pulleys. How much hp would those add?

If you want to go fast and not pay alot I recomend a nitrous system. There are endless things you can do to make your car go fast. Pulleys aren't going to add more than 10hp on a automatic.

For the 3.0 CL the strut bar for the 97 accord v6 should work. If your going to get a strut bar and actually want it to serve a purpose, you should go with a better name brand. The stiffer the bar the better. Im sure a cheap strut bar will help out a little bit, but it will pretty much only be there for looks. Good luck man
