The PS locking bolt is stuck, not the tensioner, but the big one on the left hand side. I have WD40'd it what else can i do to get it off??

ITS REVERSE THREADED!!!!!

 

i am now at the pulley itself, i know it reverse threaded (good thing i read the directions) but this one is stuck too, i hate snow and rusted everything. how do i keep the pulley from turning when i unscrew it? do i just wedge something through it?

 

I put a 22mm open ended wrench through the spokes of the pulley while I attacked the reverse threaded nut. I wouldn't worry about dinging or marking the old one, you'll never need it again.

 

still cant get any where. how did you stick the 22mm wrench through it, and where did it stick against?

 

What are you using to remove it? I hope it's a wrench that has at least a 2' long handle.
