Strut leak?
Attention to EVERYONE WITH Eibach Pro-Kit springs (3.0 preferably):
After installing the springs, the ride was perfectly fine...yet to get a camber alignment. But it's been 2 weeks, and the front shocks started to leak oil...is this normal? I doubt it is cuz the frotn left one now makes a squeaky noise when it goes up and down...does anyone else have this problem? THanks

Did you trim the bump stops????
If you over trim them, they blow immediately!!!![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I blew 3 KYB AGX shocks in less than a week.
Also, if your shocks/structs were already worn, the extra travel that the piston is now enduring will blow the seals MUCH quicker!
Sorry to hear what happened.

The bump stop is a piece of rubber which prevents the piston from over travelling and blowing the gasket. It's sometimes recommended that the bump stops get trimmed to allow a little more travel since the lowering springs are more compressed than the stock springs. The Eibach Pro-Kit, does include instructions for how to do this. If your installer followed all of the instructions, he probably would have trimmed them. If he trimmed them correctly, there shouldn't be a problem. If he trimmed them to be to short, the struts will blow out.
Keep in mind, that even if everything was done correctly (and even if the bump stops weren't trimmed), you're putting much more strain on the stock struts. If they were already well worn, just putting on lowering springs can shorten the life of the struts.
I'm not scolding you here, but this is exactly why I recommend that people get aftermarket struts at the same time you get lowering springs installed. Now you'll need to pay more $$$ to get new struts put in. The installation process is the same to put on new struts and new springs at the same time.
I had to do the same thing!
