we call it a** draging here. you'll need a rwd and lsd to drift. also crappy tires or good tire with gobbs of torque. most peopel use 240sx and hachi's. there a camaro the enters drift contest down here as well a audi S4 (but havent seen much of hims lately). if your in hawaii drifter x and xl are coming down this weekendstarts at 5 i think

I did a few weeks of midnight drifting in my neighborhood a few years back until I banked a curb real good.

Throw on crappy rear tires, and set the suspension in the rear real stiff, take the turn sharp tap up the e-brake for a 2nd and drift away

it's nothing like RWD drifting though.

If you want to drift get a RWD, its pointless in frontwheel.

I've been drifting for years - what's the big deal? It's called driving in the snow up here in Wisconsin.

There is a crew out here of FWD drifters that hit up the local road courses, the shit they do is amazing, i'd never thought i'd see a FWD car drift the way these guys do it. But honestly, like mofrose said, if you want to drift, buy RWD.

IB_Jimmy

powersliding is when you have understeer and the front end pushes out around a turn.

Drifting is basically fish tailing. But real drifting is sliding the car around through an entire corner, start to finish. Drifters get the back end loose going into the turn and hold it all the way out.

metal tray's are much better than the plastic McDonalds ones. they make a lot more noise too.

the plastic ones are good for about one 360.

Okay guys, if you are going to use McDonalds tray, uses a couple of them, they wear out really really fast and will flat spot your tires. Trust me I learned the hard way!

also, i wouldn't recommend metal, it'd heat up and melt your tires.

The CL is totally the wrong car to setup for drifting. To heavy for a FWD drifter.

stack up a few trays and drive over them w/ your rear tires, then set your ebrake and go. But honestly be carefull cause they trays wear out fast and you will flat spot your tires.

i powerslided in my CL the other day cuz my friend wouldn't let me into the other lane to make a turn. Damn him, anyways my friend drifts in his AE86, he's a crazy russian... ill post up a link of his drifts when i get it from him... RWD = Drift FWD= Powerslide
Powerslide involves Ebrake usage, RWD = brakes and mad skill....
