most: civics, integras, cavaliers, accords, sunfires, sentras, mazda proto's, n/t neons,
some: mustang v6's. camaro v6's,

not really a huge list of bragging rights, but i think we hold our own for having heated seats, and heated mirrors. altho i dont race any 1 i dont know illegally.

yeah, the cl isnt a race car by any means, even with intake header(s) exhaust. they are crusiers, just to pimp with and occasionaly beat the shit out of a civic or a teg.

our car doesnt do so bad at high speed either....i took a 2000+ Mustang GT on the high way....pull the hell out of the Civic even the '99 Civic Si. pulled pretty hard on IS300, ES300 (all years), Camary V6, hung with a SC400 on the high way till 135+ then let off. i know for sure my 3.0 will pull hard on a SC300.

honnestly dont try to trick your self its not a racecar.

db4 and fastveteccl are the only first gens that had impressive kills with the stock motor in them, the h22 guys are a different story

I know this meng, just messin around with this thread, however
I have beat the cars I mentioned. I really don't care about racing
in my CL. It's automatic for crying out loud. I can't wait until I get
my hands on something much faster (EVO).

there's only one race i havent had that i really want to get into: racing another 1st gen cl. there arent too many around my area, and the ones that are are stock. would be cool to see what someone else can do in the same car.

i've race a fellow member one time...i met him at the gas station and found out he was on the board....Scotty2.2CL (something like that) he was the one with the electice blower on the PCV pipe intake (some of yall old member remember) it was a white 97 2.2 CL 5speed (was auto) custom intake with blower, header, exhuast and i think he had some more things too. we pull out to the street after i got my full tank of gas...that 2.2 never had a chance on my 3.0. Well he crash his car a few month after that.

If you consider mid 15's slow, then you realize that we are slower then slow.
