you have to take your whole arm rest / middle console out to take it out lift that arm rest thing up and at the bottom remove the shield there should be some screws unscrew those. Take out the cup holder just have it open and yank it out, comes right off, then theres screws under that 3 of them, then your armrest comes off, then u see the 2 screws 1 on each side of the black panel of your shifter on the bottom u reveal the screws after u take off the center console. then that should loosen it enough
take that storage thing out near your cigarette lighter that open thing i dont know what its for i keep coins there. but it comes right out to. then u look in the hole where u took it out and on TOP theres another screw to take off that black fram thats holding everything together. make SURE U GET ALL THE SCREWS OFF before u yank and pull or you'l break the frame. pull up and over the shoft knob then put it to the side and take off the head unit. yea sorry if i dont make sense hope this helps

dunno bout the wire and stuff but for a new head unit install u need a Harness for Acura cars, and a supply wire/line, and a install kit. Local places like Circuit city should have all that.
i know nothing of penetrating the firewall.

um if you have a step up bit this wil go a lot faster
but otherwise keep increasing diameter of bit untill the right size is reached.. then insert a gasket and the wire
there are bare metal circles int eh firewall if you look above the brake pedal.. i drilled there.... the 0 awg hole took about 25 mins and 6 diff drill bits and it hurt my back. but just fina a lace that you cen see in teh engine compartment and then drill from teh interior out.
