My friend just got a new B18 in his civic so we went & tested it out after work. I held up with him until he hit 3rd then he started pullin away. But he hit 4h & left me, we hit a turn & it has wet spots on it so I just let off.

 

Was it the B18 LS or GSR engine?

Either way, they will be faster than you stock! They're quick!

ls vtec will beat u stock.

 

Ls do not have vtec. Do it?

 

LS with I/H/E will beat you.
GSR with I/E will smoke you.
Type R bone stock will handle you.

B18 will get it for sure, when I had my Civic w/B18C I raced my cousin in her CL all the time. But then again mine wasn't stock either. Still fun to run against though.

 

3.0 would put up a better fight, esp from a faster roll.

 

Right...unless you change the head, then you can have LS Vtec which I heard was a good combo! I'm a DSM'er!

 

b16,b18, i doesn't matter. you'll get handled by any of them. the only one you can mess with is the D series. d16, d17

 

I think anyone can mess with them!!!
