I'm getting a pe0 error on the cd (misaligned laser). It will cost around 150 to repair which is more than the price of an aftermarket. Is it worthwhile to keep the cd/security... stock for resale value?

 

or just buy one off of ebay for 50 if you want to keep the stock look

just go look at a pioneer or alpline dvd player cd combo for like 1400 bucks......that'll put ya in perspective.....just keep your stock, b/c youll buy a cheap-o CD player for 100 bucks, and pay someone 40-75 to install and now you got cut and spliced wires so the next time you gotta replace your broked CD player someone's gotta deal with the mess again

ummm for 150.00 you could get a real good cd player for that price, and what do u mean spliced wires?? you can buy a wire harness for less than 5 bucks, if your cd player does break you can easily go back to stock.

 

could someone please tell me how to get to the radio so i can install a new one? plus how do i get the volume control to work with a kenwood unit... plus should i use the bose amp or bypass it? please help i will take pics of the entire thing and make a step by step guide.... i just want to do this saturday

7 of the 11 wires going to my amp have been cut, presumably to make the aftermarket HU work. Now I don't know how to reconnect the cut wires.

the BOSE amp sucks!!!! i remember reading it only puts out 7watts RMS!!!!! thats ridiculous correct me if i;m wrong, why woudl you want to rewire that up.
