stiff gas pedal?

stiff gas pedal?

I was wondering of other members on AZ have or noticed you have to push hard to accelerate in our cars?

since have more car back it seems more than usual

i would check the tb cable. the one that connects from the pedal all the way to your throttle body. I would lubricate it and c what happens. Just to let you know i've gone thru 2 of them already.

I always thought the gas pedal was kinda soft in our cars till I drove my friends Saab. You bearly have to put your foot on that thing or it will go to the floor! I guess I'm just used to the CL and Ody.

Try lubing the throttle body spring and reel with some silicone spray... not WD-40 (shiny, gold-ish thing to the right of the pic)



My accelerator was actually sticking open for a bit when I left it outside overnight in 10 degree weather. lubing that thing made it all better.

i always had a problem where the car wouldn't accelerate enough. turns out some one moved my seat back.

I'm gonna try to lub the tb cable later today along w/ the install of my rear lip.
