steering wheel rip?

j/w if anyone else has had or has a problem with the leather ripping on the steering wheel. Well it happened to me... A small rip turned into a big rip and now I gotta go see a leather repair guy to possibly fix it asap... kinda pisses me off

I was thinkin about doin that, maybe putting one of those covers over it but I wanna take it to a leather repair shop first, if its too much, then screw it ill either do what turtle did and rip it all of or put a skin on it.

The top of my wheel is wearing and there is what looks like a tiny fingernail gouge in the left lower part below the air bag. Oh well, if worst comes to worst, I'm gonna do the MDX wheel swap. I like the wood grain with leather look.

I would be doing this on my 98 3.0 but as far as I know, the SRS did not change in the 1st gen CLs. I will have to do further research to be sure, but I'm thinking it will. Not sure about all black, but probably so.
