look at this model and click the actual picture of the cd reciever, itll show u the pics for the steering wheel mount remote...
as far as i know thats the only one there is with that type of remote you are looking for ,.. awfuly steep in price considering the model that reads dvds (doesnt include screen) is 2 bills less

ok KC, so you're running your stock head unit I take it?

The 97 decks did not have the ability to be controlled by steering wheel controls, so a 98 or 99 deck would be needed. I know there is only one wire that runs from the controls to the deck, and I believe that wire went into one of the pins in the main power/speaker connector.

The only thing i'm aware of that you could do, is a legend steering wheel swap or a 98-99 steering wheel swap. With the Legend parts, you will most likely be able to keep your wheel and air bag, but the rear shroud for the air bag, and possibly the mounts inside will need to be replaced with legend parts. You may also want the legend cruise controls, as I think they were slightly different than the CL's. That way everything would match.

I am going to be doing more research on this, as I will most likely be doing a 98-up accord wheel swap into my car... I'm going to go the extra route and add the wheel controls, however, i'll be wirring the control to an interface so I can control my alpine deck.
