Well, i am starting my custom trunk at the end of the month.. it goes into the local shop "Atomic Car Audio" at the end of this month!!!

The trunk will incude:
-3 amps built into floor
-Capaciters built into the walls
-Removing Back seat and cusom making a wall with 4 Atomic 12's mostly pexi glass wall.. trunk will be more pexi glass..
so i will be able to see through my back seat into the trunk
-Tvs built into where the back seat used to be, right near the subs

Total cost is gonna be about 4500-5000!

Having a hard time visualizing the setup with subs & TVs... but post pics when she's done...

what is it being done in? Carpet, vinyl, fiberglass??? I dont know about PA but in NY $5000 is cheap for all that shit!!! Hell I paid $12,000 for all my shit and that was 1/2 off discount because I was showing under the comapnies name... Good Luck!

Some of the trunk will be done in Vinyl and some wrapped in leather.. not sure were at tho at the moment!

The subs will be on the wall (where the back of the back seat used to be) facing the inside of the car, along with 2 TV's facing the inside (7 1/2" Icon Tv)

I am so excited cant wait till this shit is done!

oo and im gettin it extremely cheap because my friend owns the shop and he hooks me up with anything!!

 

forgot to mention that there will also be a fog machine custom built into the trunk/back seat along with 2 fish tank tubes!

a guy here in town got his whole setup from atomic. he has blown the subs (mind you these are the atomic ELE subs that rate at 1400 watts) about 4 times. he has had to make at least 10 trips (no lie) back down to atomic to get shit fixed. as of yesterday he has sparks shooting from his circuit breaker in his engine bay and needs to go back down.

atomic also sells the 4 inch tv screens (same exact ones we sell) for $200 each. we sell them for $95.

better rethink that homeboy.

***disclaimer*** in no way am i bashing atomic, but i have seen their work and am not one bit pleased with it.

 

i was thinking, you are having the tv's next to the sub. will the bass and vibration mess up the tv's?? i think i would mess up anything electronic especially sensetive ones like tv.

also, the fish tank, are you going have water and fish in them? if so, how are you goign to keep them alive and water from leaking. remember, big subs=big vibration=water leak/fucked up circuits.

lastly, just curious, pple up all these nice things in their trunks, how do they carry gocery?

Im sorry but this whole setup seems weird. Why the heck would you want to put TVs in your back seat facing the front when no one can watch them, it will look retarted. Actually why would you want to remove your back seat, maybe i just dont get this whole stereo thing but to me the back seat is more important than a plexi glass wall. Why wouldnt you just spend money on something like SlyTLS's system below. Im assuming he still has his back seat and it looks good plus he still has trunk room (assuming he has a trunk mat to protect all of that)

Well use have a point about removing the back seat, but i dunno.. i dont really need them. But i guess they do come in handy so im gonna go to the shop tonight and see if we could do something crazy and keep it in the trunk.. let use guys know what i decide soon!

PiMpIn2.2CL : Check out Casper's system...it's clean and fully functional. If you try to cram too much into a small space you're cluttering. People won't know where to look so they won't appreciate it as much as a system that has less but is laid out better.
