Ok I am getting ready to run my car at the track I only have wheels, suspension an intake and exhaust. So i went today and tested out a few things so I don't look like and idiot fri. at the track

Ok I staged my car to like 3 grand and it spun like crazy granted this was set high in fourth. So then I turn around drop it to third and just take off. I got no spin and the car seemed to accelrate to eighty faster than staging up. this was just the eighth of a mile but still.

So my question is whats the big deal with staging up to me it feels like in my automatic 3.0 its better not stage at all. What do you guys think?
