Pull the negative from the battery for 1-2 minutes.

If its still coming back go to the resources page on my web site and it tells you how to trouble shoot the SRS.

if that doesn't work I'd take into the dealer and have them clear it for you.....it maybe free-$60 at the most. I had this prob in my CL and it turned out to be an air bag sensor defect. I got a new air bag for free. if I to, I'd pay the $60 to get it checked.........cuz if you ignore it or go the easy route it could be costly in a car accident. IMO

SRS

Like lugs3 I had the same problem way back at 40K. It was a problem with air bag sensor. They replaced the air bag and sensor for free (waranty). I don't know how many miles are on your girl's ride, but take it to the dealer, and I hope it's still under waranty cause' air bags are $$$!!
Good Luck Bro
