spent 5 hours trying to install my
shift light. for some reason, it keeps blinking at odd times. it turns on at the right rpm, but it just goes on these occasional spasms. what could cause this? also, after doing that, my gas gauge doesn't move. is this a connection problem? I don't have time to look at it until tomorrow or sunday so any help would be appreciated. what fuse do you connect your indiglo gauges and shift light to? thanks!

are you sure you tapped it into the rpm signal wire?
i would tap the signal wire into the back of your guages just get a light power tester, and have the cluster hooked up and then rev the engine with the power on , the signal wire would be the one that would fade when you rev it, ie, get brighter/dim when reving
