Speed Sensor on the '98 2.3CL

Does anyone know wher ethe speed sensor is located on the 1998 2.3 CL? I need to repalce mine, the dealer said it is located in the transmission, but unable to find it...Thanks in advance...

its mounted to the top of the transmission, near the firewall. You have to take the intake pipe out to get to it easily. There is a harness plugged into the top of it.
