Question spectre intake

ok so i have been looking around at sri's on ebay and everywhere else i could think of, so i went to my local autozone and shucks and noticed a kit by spectre and it says it will work with 94-00 honda accord v6.... looking at it from the angle it wont but does anyone have experience with these kits because i would like to make my own short ram and needed to know how many air sensors i would need and the pieces to really just get it done..... much thanks if i can get any help.

What I did I had a old cold air (not ram air)intake a 2 piece from a 94-97 2.2 accord. I took the cold air portion drilled 2 holes put fittings for the hoses and it fits perfect. Didn't have to cut it or anything It was all scratched up so I powder coated it semi gloss black. From time to time I install it. But usually just leave it off.

yeah i've used spectre intakes. have one on my f22a. good stuff actually.

but no double intakes. lol.

for those of you scratching youd heads about that one, they make 'y' pieces you can make all sort of carzy designs. don't think they'll hold boost though, too bad, be pretty cheap and easy IC piping.

It looks like you left the stock air box in. It would be more effective if you took it out, not to mention it would sound a lot better too.

But since i only put the intake on randomly and for a week or so. Then reinstall the stock, why would i take the lower intake off?

removing the resonator would still make it sound better with the stock airbox or not.

The piping doesn't matter correct? So like the eBay intake salog posted and one such as the BOMz eBay intake are all the same right? The filter is what should be changed to one such as K&N to increase it's performance. Or would sound resonate differently in any way? I ain't trying to sound too rice lol.

Nice work Tragic.

Correct, the piping is almost all the same, the filter makes the difference
