speaker question

How do i upgrade my speakers? i was looking at the rear deck speakers and there was a plug in for the speaker... do i just cut that off and splice the wires normally to the new speaker? thanks

I soldered mine to the wires, just above the plug. That way I can plug the stock speakers back in when I sell the CL (some year).
