Speaker problem
Speaker problem
About 3 times in the past few days, my speaker in the driver's door has gone out.
Each time it's happened, I hit a big bump.
I don't notice when it comes back, but it does.
I assume this means a loose wire somewhere?
I don't know shit about electronics, so anyone want to give me some pointers to fix this problem?
I guess where to check would be a good starting point ...back of head unit, inside door panel?
I'm off work tomorrow, so I'd like to get at this in the morning.
Thanks for any help

check for oxidation as well. its possible that moisture has gotten into one of the contacts and made it prone to breaking connection when the car shakes. or maybe something happened to one of the cables in that the insulation could be cut/ damaged and oxidation building up on the wire itself. good luck figuring this one out :S
If there not aftermarket, now would be a great time to get aftermarket ones installed, even if its just the door speakers. I decided to do this when my whole door panel came loose, door came back nice and tight with new speakers

AM speakers for the win, to get to the speaker, you have to take your door panel out, def sounds like a loose wire though
