Got my second speeding ticket today (number 2 in almost a month). I was doing 45 in a 35 and it was a school zone. Does anyone know how much that would be?? Damn cops anyway. Ummm does anyone want to buy a 97 2.2 CL? I think this car is bad luck.

 

that sucks... not too sure how much, but I know in work zones and school zones the fines are doubled... at least in ny they are...

 

I got pulled over for doing 40 in a 25 school zone. I didnt get a ticket but the officer was kind enough to tell me that if he did give me a ticket, it would have cost $288. The worst part about this was it happened in my school zone when we first moved from NJ where the school zone speeds are usually 35. This should give you somewhat of an idea.

Same shit happened to me in a school zone a few years back. The road is a 40 mph zone...the school zone was 15 i believe. It was 2:55pm. School zone lights weren't even on yet.

I see the damned trooper and my radar goes off, so I pull out of my school @ 35 thinking I better go under the speed limit. Then he pulls me over saying I was speeding. Good thing the judge was the husband of one of my teachers and he agreed it was bullshit too.

 

yeah.. i just got my first speeding ticket on sunday in the CL. not good times.
