Yesterday.. So its drizzling outside on a two lane residential street and I pulling out of a parking spot after checking behind me where a truck was blocking the road. After I got about half way out the spot a kid in a jeep comes flying around the truck and smacks right into my left fender knocking my bumper off and other misc. parts. The police get there and chew the boy out and his mom gets there and talks to the police (I was in Clayton one of the richest parts of St. Louis) and she persuades the police to not write a report and she offers to pay out of pocket to my father over the phone which he agrees. Still I got all of their information. It was immediately towed to the auto body shop who just informed me it is over 3700 dollars in damage and they aren't even done with the estimate. He messed up the fender and took out the whole left front corner, barely scratching the hood. The auto body shop said it will most likely be totaled but we are going to give her the price it is to fix it and see if she is willing to pay. By the way i became a father to a healthy baby boy earlier yestorday. I will post pics when i get home don't have time to now but it doesn't look that bad, but their was tons of pieces and wires everywhere.

Its time for a bigger car anyways... Trust me.. Putting a child in the back of a CL.. Not exactly fun! Trust me

looks like definately more than 4 grand I mean from what I see its a new Front bumper, fender, front suspension, headlights, maybe a bit of straightening to the frame, and maybe some things under the hood that ive missed............ I mean I hope she paysfor it, but I think this CL is fucked..... but I cant really talk, because mine is probably worse off from my accidents, and im still driving it OK after fixing it every time, Honda really built a tank in this one, then again it IS an 'Accord' after all
