Question So I bought these

I've decided that my little candle-like headlights need to go, so I bought these: http://www.slickcar.com/products/317-1134PXUS2.jpg The only problem now, is that I'm going to have to install them. I know there's probably a DYI on it, but how tough is it going to be? I can't even change a headlight bulb on the car because I can't get the freakin thing out!

Yep, there's a DIY. Look for "Blackhousing Headlights With Front Bumper Removal." The hardest part is getting the bumper aligned back up properly when putting it back on. I'd suggest an extra set of hands for that.

Here's the diy, you have to take the bumper off, it's not that big of a deal, it's easier with 2 people to take it off, but especially to put it back on, 2 people is a must.

Think I'd be better off paying somebody to do it for me?

Depends if you can turn a socket wrench or not, it's 4 bolts and like 2 screws, really not complicated, just takes a little juggling to get the bumper back on straight. U still dating the dude that was into cars? Make him do it

remove the front bumper, then remove headlight assembly. Here's the DIY for the bumper removal

I just got those headlights like 2 days ago and they look sick. Honestly, get a friend to help you out with taking and putting the bumper back on. Just follow the directions on the FIY and you should be fine. I'll be posting pics real soon.

When I blackhoused, I pulled the bumper and put it back on all by myself... It's not that hard...

You can do this on yourself hun...

Not hard at all...

Just get someone to help when you throw the bumper back on or just take your time.

You're right, I'll give it a shot...guess we'll see when I have a day off work to do it. Shouldn't take too long, I don't think.

Almost full pic, i was in the garage and couldn't move back any further...

The damage is from the mask/bra that I put on the car; I took the pics before putting the bottom back on.

I like them; they work SO much better than the nasty stock ones!

Overall, it was a little tougher than I figured, and I have a few "Extra" bolts...but oh well

and my hands are all cut up to hell
