So Excited :)

So, I'm going to be a dork and tell you all about my exciting trip to NC I had to take my car to the shop this morning, so last night I set out to Charlotte. I left around 6 or so, but before I left, I decided to wash the car - which was a disaster b/c the water kept freezing on the car. So anyways, on 85, I saw a black cl, which passed me like it was on fire. I like to have driving buddies, as I call them, so I decided to fly and catch up with him -going about 90 for 10-15 miles until I caught him. Once he figured out I'd fly with him, it was SO great!!!!! We were swerving in and out of lanes and around other cars, everything was perfectly coordinated I know it was a guy driving and his plate was a "share the road" w/ bike riders plate. I have got to figure out who this guy was, he's from SC, like me, so I'm bound to find him on 85 again...

hahaha just wanted to see if my problem was w. the alternator or the power steering pump, and, to my dismay, it's the alternator... but he said it isn't dead yet, it's just on its way out

I live right off 85 on Sugar Creek. I'd race ya, but I don't think my 2.2 CL will go 90.

It wasn't a race though, that's just the point - it was more fun than a race and more polite, im just smitten with the idea, that's all. if i could drive like that everytime i got on the road, id never get off

I had a similar experience on I77 from Cola to NC but with 3 other cars. A Cobra, an integra, and a civic. I was in my IS300. Cobra and I blew away the 4 bangers. I lead the Cobra till we hit 120s when he started to gain on me. I slowed down signaling his win. We both slowed and let the other two catch up. Then is was 90-100 for a good long while. Crazy Crazy. I'd never do that again
