How hard did he pull on you? Doesn't suprise me at all, he's probably down 50 or so lbs and you are probably up another 200. 250 lbs should have him pulling a car or so even w/ your power advantage.

Shit, so how much extra weight do you have in your call 99CL? Do rims slow you down too, because it has something to do with having to take extra power to spin larger heavier wheels (I forget what itz called), but that's why lighter rims can actually take .2+ secs off your 1/4 mile times. I wanna get 17's but that weigh no more than 17lbs.

 

my rims should be lighter then our stock ones but not by too much since i got 18s. But lets see, rammat around 150-200 lbs extra, system i'll say 200 cause mdf wood is pretty heavy. and most of it is make out of mdf and just fiberglass to shape the sub area. so at least 350-400 lbs extra...

If u want light wheels go with gram lights by volks..i heard those are light..or look around for other brands...

ya 5N was a biatch didnt clear until hitting the freaking 118. haha u were ahead of me then back then ahead then back. ur exhaust sounded pretty good, but as for ur springs, they dont sound 2 good. squeaky squeak squeak

 

yeah what the fuck was up with the traffic... ur exhaust is quiet and the auto tranny shifts you real low on rpms.

yeah I know... squeek aqueek they are TEIN SS. cocoa (chris) black 3.0 that ran with 99CL the champaign one with volk rims. and chris's friend mauricio and I put them in last saturday but we screwed up the bushings in the rear drivers side assembly... put the bushings in wrong gotta fix that soon I think it is fucking up the assembly. grrrr... and I need my rotors in too.

yea, cocoa, i'm working on getting custom cams made in bulk for the 3.0. Give me another few weeks to see if I can get the deal to go through. They'd be about $100 more then the type S cams after you machine them.

 

if you want something that will make you quicker get 16's or 15's. My 18's are only 18 lbs and w/ the extra circumference even the lighter weight is slower then my stocks. I can feel it.


Get some light weight 16's. You can find them around 13-14 lbs
