Smoked vs. Clear?

I'm debating what to do (If anything) to the front of my car. I could get these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-98...spagenameZWDVW and leave my headlights as is. I plan on getting a 4300k H.I.D. kit also.

My other option would be to pick these up with some smoked corner lenses and HIDs

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-X...ayphotohosting

What do you guys like better, also if anyone has pics of either combination id really like to see it Ive seen the clear corners on white, ive never seen smoked lights on white

edit: my front now

Shut up about the height

um, you really don't need to spend $300 to make your headlights look like that, just blackhouse them. Otherwise I would say clear cuz it matches your stock headlights. The smoked only look good when the tops match it at least you're on the right track

Clear looks great on our cars, only reason I went non-clear was cuz of the proj's or i'd still be all clear.

The blackhousing on the JDM is good but I hate the lines on the corner. I think there is a photoshoped image on here and it didn't look too bad. Just blackhouse yourself. crap load cheaper and not really that hard.
This is what you do:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=171826

get those clear corners then:

well to be quite honest with you, those headlights on ebay look kinda cheesy. i mean theyve got the corner light all painted with those 3 stripes and it looks wierd. for your car i would just get the clear bumper lights, keep the the headlight housing that you have now, get your HID kit and then amber bulbs.

not to mention for that price you can get something ten times cooler for your car

That's really what I was leaning towards to begin with, I voted for clear on my own poll I want to try and keep the car as clean as possible and not overdo anything but still mod a little here and there.

You mean the emblem on my car? Its not colored. I made it by taking off the A and painting it gloss black and clear coat. The background behind it is the backing of the grille. I masked off the center circle with tape and painted it chrome and then clear coat. Place the A back on and there you have it.

Blackhouse your stock headlights. I wish I could, but I hate the look of blackhoused headlights on a black car, just my taste. Get some clear corners for sure.
