Side Skirts to paint or not to paint?

Well, Im going around to body shops tomorrow and going to get some estimates on some damage that was done the the vehicle from the previous owner. Well, my ? is this how many of you think i should paint my side skirts to match the color of my car? I have mixed feelings about this only because there is a lot of black accents on my car im just wondering if it would look much better or much worse either way i doubt i can loose. If you need to see a picture before judging its in my www icon at the bottom of the post. Thanks for your time and opinions!

It won't look like a body kit, if that's what your worried about. It actually will complete the cars' look. Just look at the 98/99's and see if you like the way they look.

to be warned though, i heard a lot of bad things about painting that kind of plastic, a lot of people have said that the paint chips off over time because it doesnt stick. i'm getting mine done also, but im goin to the dealership and getting the pieces from a 98/99 because those are made to be painted

a lot of honda are like that....the first one usually have the skirts and trimming unpainted. then the next year they paint everything and sometime shave the side trim too.

Yeah...paint it...and remove it and just take the individual panels to the shop.

The paint will chip off if it is not preped properly or wear and tear. Properly preped, it can last a long time. But it is not as cheap as some might think. The prep job alone should be at least $100.
