Should I join a club??
I want your guys opinions on this one, help me out. I've been approached by a few members from area clubs about joining up with them. Theres about 4 clubs total that are "competing" for my services, so to speak. lol. Either way, I never really thought about joining a club, but i think i would like it. For instance, a lot of these guys are sponsored, and that would mean.....free stuff for my car! And of course, i'd be reppin CL's! Some of the people have told me that they want an Acura, but not an integra, since they're way too common. 2 of the clubs dont even have any Acura's, and they want me to be the one and only. I guess im' the only CL rockin 19's with the air ride . The only downside would be, i guess, putting the club stickers on my car. But i think if i can get my car in shows, win some stuff, get it more exposed so i can maybe get more free shit.........i think it'd be worth it. If any of u guys have any club experience, or any advice, please let me know! Thanks in advance.

Pick which ever club is to your taste but keep in mind the class of the CL. I would just avoid the clubs with large front winshield banner stickers. Makes the CL look tacky and takes away from its social status let alone yours. Rear quarter window stickers are sufficient in my opinion to represent their club, like the acura-cl.COM stickers.
Hope this helps you. I was in one, before I was told it was mandatory to have the front windshield banner.
Hope this helps you. But hey can't deny all the FREE STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason why I chose this crew is because they're the easiest going bunch of guys and they're highly respected on the island.

yeah - i'd say above all make sure its guys that are pretty chill and ones you can trust. You won't enjoy the club if you don't enjoy the company of the guys and girls that are in it

Forums are different from clubs.
Having a "Off-Topic.net" sticker on your car is a little bit different than if you put a "Team Icy Hot Stunna" sticker on your car.

Katana18: I would tell you to join a club that is free of street racing and concentrate on the show scene(since our CLs are not real performance cars), even though there are good racing clubs. The scene is kind of corrupted but make sure the peeps on the club are serious about sponsorships and not repesenting those companies on a bad way. Make sure they are responsible and are not just out there to steal n create chaos.

Maybe your clubs are different, but the ones in Jax are fucken ghey. Just a bunch of slow ass ricers trying to look hard. And I've NEVER seen a car club be "in with the cops." Most the ones I know are all about trying to street race...I doubt thats something thats endorsed by cops. Unless you're in a club for an import show, I really don't see any reason at all.
"Hey look guys...I'm in a club...WEEEEEEeeeeeeee"
If you want to do charity work, go volunteer. If you want to play with cars, go do that. WTF are you mixing the two together for? They're totally unrelated.

to me though, a car crew is all about being with your friends and sharing the same ideas and thoughts, i wouldnt go out and look for a crew to join where i dont know anyone, i would join a crew where i know most of the ppl already before joining
