I am thinking of purchasing a 1997 Acura CL 3.0

SHould I get it? It is in like new condition (I MEAN LIKE NEW) and has all the acura maintanence records. The miliage is 51,000 miles, and the price is 13,500.

What do you think?

I would definitely get the CL (just like mine), but you might do better on the price.

According to www.kbb.com that price is somewhere between what a dealer would ask and what a private party would ask for the car.

The price is as low as I will be able to go, but the car is in showroom new condition. It is a one owner, and the man has the paperwork from the Acura dealership for all of the required maintnance.

Yea make sure you test drive it first if you already have not. ( If you like hard-shifting tranny's). And take a look at what kind of service has been performed to it. The price is just a bit high, make the point that you can get the same car at the dealership certified with a warranty for that price. But if your O.K. with the price then do it. BTW I paid 10,700 for 54,000 miles on my 97 3.0 cl premium which was like new also and still is, about a year ago.
