at first i thought there were only forbidden and pspec, but now i see this as i googled.

If you have cash, Forbiden FTW. bar none. but they're going out of business IIRC.
Look for 92-96 Prelude VTEC shifter. much shorter than the Accord/CL shifter. Look good enough, you'll find one for cheap.

does it have to be vtec? ive heard some places that it can be the Si too.

The picture on that link is a generic short shifter for 92-00 Civics.. The adapters they make for our cars are really annoying and i wouldnt reccomend it..
get a Pspec one..

again, it's a question of money.
anywhere around 30-50$ for Prelude shifter from a junkyard or part out.
100+ for the Forbidden. you get what you pay for.

I love my Pspec... short shifter is prolly one of the best mods you can do... besides suspension... and HIDs. haha.. it feels like a totally different car almost... it also helps with an h22 though... but I'm sure you'll notice the difference if you do get a short shifter anyways.

I agree with you 100%, thats the one i have and i love it. My hand doesn't have to move off of the e-brake to shift lol
