Short Shifter?

heres whats up , i got a TL woodgrain shift knob i am trying to install and when i rethreaded it by screwing it all the way on, it was sticking up to high, so then i thought about a short shifter, is there a short shifter that keeps the same " shifting-shaft?" so the shift knob i have already threaded will work ?
thanks in advance-

oh also if i get headers would i need something to keep the heat down under the hood?

hillarious.

yes the prelude shifter is great.

one thing that bothers me is that when in second gear or shifting to it you run pretty close to the ebrake.

other than that is it is great.

time to change the ebrake handle
