How do I properly maintain my short ram? I had it on for a while and I want to clean it. Do I just run a water hose over it?

 

If you just want to clean the filter then buy a K&N filter recharger cleaning kit. The kit sells for about $15 and comes with oil that you use to lube up the filter and a spray to clean it. You can even find the kit a little bit cheaper on ebay, heres an example http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eb...118159&r=0&t=0 .

If you want to clean the actual metal tubing then shinning the outside of the tube with a damp rag would be ok. If you want to clean the inside of the tube which I dont see a need for then just make sure whatever you wet is dry before putting it back on.
