guys, my uncle fucked up my needle, when installing my guage for me..... temp and gas guage are fucked up for sure, but he pulled out the speed and rpm needle, is it ok if I just buy the meter for all 4 or have to change the whole cluster???? helpp guys!!!!

 

and also if I order from http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net , it does come with the needle in there right?????? i know it's a stupid question, but i just want to make sure.... because i don't want to buy the whole cluster, just the meter would work right???

 

Yeah, you just need the new meter. The needles are not made to come out. You can just replace them.

 

what about my speed and rpm meter??? the milleage in the speed meter would be different then??? shittt..... or would it be better just to buy a new cluster??

 

Yeah that's a good question. You might want to call the dealership and ask them about that. I broke my temp gauge and I just put a new one in. I am not sure about the speedometer though.

 

That happened to me to you are going to need the whole temp gauge and the RPM one if you took the needle out and you can't put it back in that means you need a new RPM gauge also. When I installed my indiglos I didnt have to take out the needles at all the only problem I had was my tep gauge but then got a new one and that fit perfectly. I know how it feels when that sh*t happens. Oh and by the way if you f*ck up one that means you only have to fix the ones that you messt up OK you dont need to buy the whole freaking cluster.

 

I also broke my temp guage when i was installing indiglos. I jus pasted that bitch on tehre for now. But i also need to replace it... what do u guys recommend? how can i replace it? where do i go to buy it how much would it cost me? ?? I also broke (cracked) the plastic covering in front of the guages so i left it off when i reinstalled it; does anyone know where i can get a replacement for that? without buying the whole cluster again?

 

Been there done that.............I can't help but laugh at the busted needle situations.

just go to the dealer and order a new temp a gas gauge. they come in at about 40 bucks a pop. if you need the tachtometer also, it might be a better idea to save yourself the headache and buy a whole new cluster.

im not sure how you can match the mileage tho.
