I think a shifter from a 92-96 prelude VTEC + the ebay short shifter mod is your best bet. Someone on here did it but I can't remember. Do a search for Prelude shifter.

WRONG.

you use the 92-96 lude shifter adapter on the 92-96 lude shifter...
94-97 accord adapter works on stock shifter.

hey Scott whens the N00b guide going to get done?

P-spec and forbidden racing short shifters are direct swaps with hammering down some tabs on the shift plate.

i have the lude shifter in my car works great.

here is the breakdown...

you dont need the whole shift linkage... just the shifter itself... stock shifter knob works fine since it is the same exact one as the lude shift knob.

exactly, i also have the 92-96 lude shifter in my whip and it i'm very happy with it. Just remember to hammer the plates down!

And i recommend doing this process slowly otherwise your just going to end up with the same length throw but a shorter looking shifter

good luck!

u didnt hammer the plates all the way down? if you dont every time you shift it hits the metal tabs... the throw is still shorter with the shifter because of where the shifter cables attach to the stick.

i just bought the prelude adapter on ebay. just something little since im bored... ill let you know if its worth it.

i wasnt trying to imply that the adapter would work with the shifter, but that both would work
