Shift Knob Question for Ridin Low or Anyone

How do you remove the stock shift knob on a manual CL? I got a leather Acura one I want to put in.

You unscrew it. I took my whole center console out so I could remove that square piece that fits on the bottom of the shift knob. I got a momo knob. But to remove the knob you just unscrew it.

The replacement does not have any threads for screwing (HEHEHEHEHE).

Is there any pics of the procedure. It seems strange to me that I would have to take of the console. The shift boot only clips on to the shifter.

I have no pics I am at work now. The shift knob unscrews counter clockwise. I took the console apart to removed the boot clip. My Momo was a round tapered knob the Acura was a square bottom knob.

Well there's two ways to do it....

1. First you pull the engine....

2. Unscrew it.
