Morning all,

A few months ago, I went back to the dealer and had the starter unit on my 1999 3.0 changed as part of a recall advertised on the Acura website. The old one never gave me any problems. The new one has lately started to cough a little before firing up.

Well this morning, she just wouldnt start. At one point when trying to start her up, all the lights on the dashboard would go loopy. At some attempts, the car would just splutter but never start. Other times, it would do nothing and I would hear a heavy sound coming from the engine. I had to leave her behind and rush to work.

What do you reckon the problem is? Its cant be the battery because the car clock comes on just fine. It could be the spark plugs / starter unit.. Any suggestions?
