shaking?!!?

when i drive my steering wheel shakes like crazy, say like going 80mph then hitting the brakes to slow down it shakes then when i slow down it goes away. or anytime i need to slow down faster, it shakes. could it be that my tires dont have enought air (havent check it yet) or that my alignment is off. Or does everyone have this problem.

yeah i had that problem before

most likely your rotors are warped.. thus when the pads push up against them, your car shakes

and if your steering wheel is shaking.. its most likely your front rotors

replace the rotors.. and dont shave it anymore.. just replace the whole thing, u shouldnt have the shaking anymore

(also, check your air pressure in your tires.. and tread)

Still have them checked it has been 3 years , it sounds like the rotors and calipers.

rotors can warp if you drive fast and brake alot, and then say run into a cold rainstorm or carwash. i live in the city and once they get warped they can sometime cut them and if not just get new ones. no big deal pretty easy to install too, just make sure you also do the brake pads.

It could be your rotors...could also be that your wheels are not balanced.
